Program Partner Agreement

1. Overview

This agreement ("Agreement") governs the relationship between Tuition.fyi ("Platform") and the university program ("Partner") creating a profile on the Platform. By creating a program profile, Partner agrees to these terms.

2. What Tuition.fyi Provides

• A public program profile page displaying Partner-provided information and verified student cost data
• A bulk invite link for Partner to distribute to current students for data collection
• Aggregated analytics including total profile views, viewer demographics (prospective students/parents, current students, international students), student submission count, and scholarship breakdowns
• Integration with U.S. Department of Education College Scorecard data for post-graduation earnings
• Side-by-side display of Partner-reported outcomes alongside independently verified data

3. What Partner Provides

• Accurate program information including name, description, and application details
• Graduate outcome data (average starting salary, notable employers) which will be clearly labeled as "Program Reports" (self-reported)
• Distribution of the bulk invite link to current students to encourage data submissions
• A designated administrator with a valid .edu email from the Partner's university

5. Data Ownership & Transparency

• Student-submitted data belongs to the Tuition.fyi platform and is displayed anonymously. Partner does not own or control student submissions.
• Partner-provided information (description, salary data, employers) is clearly labeled as self-reported and displayed alongside independently verified data.
• Partner cannot request removal or modification of verified student data. The integrity of student-submitted data is non-negotiable.
• Tuition.fyi will not sell individual student data to Partner or any third party. Only aggregated, anonymized statistics are shared.

6. Student Privacy

Partner acknowledges that student submissions are anonymous. Partner will not attempt to identify individual students through the data displayed on their profile. The bulk invite link does not give Partner access to individual student data, only aggregated statistics on their program profile page.

7. Accuracy & Good Faith

Partner agrees to provide accurate information. Knowingly misrepresenting graduate outcomes, salary data, or program details is grounds for profile removal. Tuition.fyi reserves the right to flag discrepancies between Partner-reported data and independently verified data.

8. Billing & Payment Threshold

• Profiles remain free until reaching 1,000 prospective student and parent impressions
• Upon reaching the threshold, Partner will be notified and given 30 days to select a paid tier or deactivate the profile
• If no tier is selected after 30 days, the profile will be deprioritized (hidden from search and homepage) but not deleted
• Billing is monthly, charged at the beginning of each billing cycle
• Partner may cancel at any time. Profile data will be retained but deprioritized

9. Termination

Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time. Upon termination by Partner, their profile will be deprioritized but student-submitted data will remain in the database (as it belongs to the students, not the Partner). Tuition.fyi may terminate a Partner profile for violation of these terms, fraudulent data, or non-payment.

10. No Guaranteed Outcomes

Tuition.fyi does not guarantee any specific number of student submissions, profile views, or application conversions. The Platform provides the infrastructure; Partner is responsible for distributing the invite link and driving student participation.
